PKV Calendar privacy policy
Updated 12 October 2026.
PKV Calendar is a personal plugin for the Obsidian notes app, made and used by Sourav Sen for his own Google accounts. This policy covers the Google user data it accesses.
Data it accesses
With your permission, the plugin reads and writes Google Calendar data (calendars, events, attendees and free/busy information) and reads your Google account’s email address, to tell connected accounts apart.
How it’s used
The data is used only to show your calendars inside Obsidian, to create, change and delete events and replies you ask it to, and to find free time for planning tasks. It is not used for advertising, sold, or used to train AI models.
Where it’s kept
The plugin runs on your own devices and calls Google’s API directly. Sign-in tokens and a cached copy of recent events are stored in your Obsidian vault’s plugin folder, which syncs only through the storage you choose for the vault (such as iCloud). No data is sent to, or stored on, any server run by the developer.
Sharing
Google user data is not shared with or transferred to anyone.
Google API Services
The plugin’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access and data
Disconnect an account in the plugin’s settings, or remove the app’s access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the plugin’s folder from the vault removes its stored tokens and cached events.
